About Our Product

This Tibetan Bhumba for Buddhist Altar is crafted from copper with gold and silver plating, measuring 23cm in height, 10.5cm in length, and 14cm in width, with a weight of 0.67 kg. Featuring traditional Himalayan Buddhist artistry, this sacred ritual vessel combines a smooth silver-plated body with elaborate golden carvings, floral ornaments, and decorative patterns. Its detailed metalwork and contrasting finishes make this Buddhist Bhumba suitable for monastery altars, personal shrines, meditation rooms, and collections of Tibetan Buddhist ritual objects.

This Tibetan Buddhist Bhumba features a rounded silver-plated body resting upon an intricately decorated golden pedestal with raised floral and scrolling carvings. The upper section displays an elaborate gold-plated lid adorned with detailed openwork patterns, ornamental borders, and a crown-shaped finial featuring a small red accent. A long, narrow spout extends downward from the upper section, ending above a prominent heart-shaped decorative panel filled with intricate floral motifs. The golden relief carvings contrast beautifully with the smooth silver-plated surface, while the symmetrical arrangement of the ornamental elements highlights the traditional craftsmanship of this Himalayan ritual vessel.

In Tibetan Buddhism, the Bhumba is a sacred ceremonial vessel traditionally used for purification, blessings, and ritual water offerings. It symbolizes purity, compassion, wisdom, and the removal of spiritual obstacles. During Buddhist ceremonies, water held within the Bhumba may be blessed and used as part of purification rituals, representing the cleansing of negative influences and the cultivation of positive qualities. Its floral decorations reflect auspiciousness and spiritual harmony. This gold and silver plated Bhumba is suitable for Buddhist prayers, blessing ceremonies, monastery rituals, sacred altar arrangements, and devotional shrine displays. It also makes a meaningful addition to collections of Himalayan Buddhist ritual artwork.
