Temple Lion Statues
About Our Lion Set
These Temple Lion Statues, weighing a total of 2.60 kg, are a concrete illustration of the holy connection between the divine and the material world. Usually built at the entrances of temples, monasteries, or other places of worship, they stand for the Dharma's protection and the teachings' preservation. They serve as a reminder of the constant watchfulness needed to preserve spiritual truths and the values of virtue and righteousness as guardians of the threshold.
The Temple Lion Statues are symbols of protection, bravery, and strength that stand watch over hallowed areas. These magnificent statues, which are expertly made from copper, radiate a sense of regal authority and spiritual fortitude. When they are grouped together, their commanding presence inspires awe in everyone who sees them.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
