Depicted in a peaceful seated posture upon an intricately crafted lotus throne, this handcrafted sculpture measures 29cm in height and weighs 2.81 kg. The statue features a copper body enhanced with gold plating and turquoise details, reflecting the refined artistry of traditional Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship.

The statue portrays Shakyamuni Buddha in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, with his right hand gently touching the earth as a symbolic gesture of awakening, determination, and the triumph of wisdom over ignorance. His left hand rests in a meditative position, representing concentration, mindfulness, and inner realization. The sculpture features a serene facial expression, tightly curled hair, elongated ears, and finely engraved robes decorated with delicate ornamental patterns. The lotus pedestal beneath him symbolizes purity, spiritual growth, and the unfolding of enlightened awareness.

Crafted by skilled Himalayan artisans, this Gold Plated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue showcases intricate metalwork through detailed engraving, traditional ornamentation, and carefully applied turquoise embellishments. The combination of radiant gold tones, copper craftsmanship, and sacred Buddhist iconography creates a dignified presence for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, and spiritual collections. Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around age 29, he encountered immense human suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his objective, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. He then stated that he had visited a deer park outside Sarnath (Benares), near Varanasi, India.
