23cm Tantric Red Tara Thangka | Dakini Painting | Goddess of Transformation
This Tantric Red Tara thangka is meticulously hand-painted on cotton canvas using natural stone pigments and genuine 24K gold. Created in the traditional Karma Gadri style, the artist skillfully blends deep mineral hues with delicate gold accents to depict the divine energy and sacred symbolism of Red Tara. The natural stone colors stay vibrant over time, while the shimmering gold highlights her sacred features, such as the five-jeweled crown and flowing scarf, enhancing her spiritual presence. This compact yet impactful piece balances intricate iconography with a refined composition, making it a perfect addition to devotional spaces and meditation areas.
Red Tara is portrayed in a noble, relaxed stance, reflecting her readiness to act with compassion. She wears a five-jeweled crown, symbolizing the five Buddha families and enlightened qualities. In her right hand, she gently holds a vase filled with nectar, signifying abundance and purification. Her left hand softly grasps a bow and arrow resting on a lotus, representing her strength to overcome obstacles and protect all living beings. Sitting peacefully on a lotus, she symbolizes purity and spiritual awakening. The detailed and harmonious design highlights her fierce yet kind nature as a protector and quick savior in tantric Buddhist practice. This thangka is more than an inspiring devotional artwork—it's a meaningful spiritual tool for those seeking courage, protection, and compassion.
