Introduction of Kartika Axe

The Kartika is utilized in numerous Buddhist rituals, often in conjunction with the kapala (skullcap). It holds significant importance in Chöd practice, a form of tantric meditation where the practitioner visualizes their own body as an offering at a tantric feast. The Kartika is also notably featured in the Tibetan sky burial ritual, where deceased bodies are sectioned into small pieces and left on specialized gats or burial platforms for vultures to consume.
