About Our Ritual Item :
This Stupa Buddhist Home Decor (23.5cm x 12.5cm, 1.52kg) is a beautifully crafted stupa made from oxidized copper, representing the sacred journey towards enlightenment. In Buddhist tradition, the stupa is a revered symbol of the Buddha’s teachings and the path to spiritual awakening. This decorative stupa is perfect for placing on an altar, meditation space, or as a meaningful addition to your home decor, radiating peace and positive energy.
The stupa’s oxidized copper body enhances its spiritual significance, symbolizing the connection between earth and wisdom. The detailed craftsmanship and serene design make it not only a sacred object but also a striking piece of art. At 23.5cm tall, this stupa is ideal for creating a spiritually centered space, inviting calmness, focus, and inner peace.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
