We are Kathmandu Valley artists who have been creating Vajrayana sculptures, such as this four-armed Chenrezig statue, that have been passed down from generation to generation to help practitioners know Meaning of Avalokiteshvara Mantra. In the statue, the compassionate bodhisattva is depicted peacefully standing atop a moon disc lotus seat, emphasizing his role as a protector. He has four arms, the first pair of which are brought together in front of his chest to form the 'Namaskara Mudra,' while the second pair each holds an item, such as a crystal rosary on his left and an Utpala flower on his right. Our artists have meticulously placed precious jewels to enhance the statue's beauty.
