This statue of the Buddha Shakyamuni depicts the historical Buddha, who acquired enlightenment and taught the Dharma. The statue, which weighs 4.31 kg and is 13.8 inches (35 cm) tall with a base width of 9.6 inches (24.5 cm), was meticulously crafted. It is made of 24K gold gilded copper and incorporates detailed gold and acrylic paintings, as well as hand-carved gemstones, to create a brilliant and sacred image of the Enlightened One.
The Buddha is represented in a meditative posture, seated in the lotus position, with his right hand extending down to touch the soil, representing his moment of enlightenment, known as the Bhumisparsha Mudra. His serene expression encourages calmness and reflection, making it a great item for meditation rooms, Buddhist shrines, or as part of your home decor, instilling peace and knowledge.
