About our Statue:

This Statue of Supreme Healing Buddha is a finely crafted work of Himalayan artistry made from a copper body with radiant gold-plated detailing. The peaceful seated form of the Medicine Buddha, known as Bhaisajyaguru, is meticulously crafted, highlighting its calm expression, smooth contours, and symbolic posture associated with healing and spiritual restoration. The artisan’s skill is evident in the clean lines of the robe, the balanced proportions, and the subtle sacred patterns that reflect the deep-rooted traditions of Nepalese metalwork.

The statue features beautifully defined motifs such as the healing myrobalan plant held in the Buddha’s right hand and the alms bowl resting on the left palm—both symbols of spiritual nourishment and the power to ease suffering. Gold-plated accents illuminate the folds of the robe, crown details, and ornamental elements, giving the statue a striking visual presence. Every curve and engraving has been thoughtfully shaped to enhance the serene and compassionate aura associated with the Medicine Buddha.

Representing healing, clarity, and spiritual well-being, this Supreme Healing Buddha Statue is ideal for meditation rooms, personal shrines, wellness spaces, and collections of sacred Buddhist art. Its profound symbolism and detailed craftsmanship make it a meaningful centerpiece that inspires peace and introspection.

Introduction to Statue

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about the tremendous pain people experience. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
