About our Statue:
This Statue of Kshitigarbha is a stunning representation of one of the most revered figures in Tibetan Buddhism. Standing at 22 cm in height and 17 cm in width, this intricately designed statue is crafted from oxidized copper with a gold-plated finish, enhanced by acrylic color and adorned with artificial coral and turquoise stones. Kshitigarbha, known as the “Earth Store Bodhisattva,” is a compassionate deity who vows to save all beings from suffering, especially guiding souls through the realms of existence.
The statue depicts Kshitigarbha in a serene and protective posture, with one hand holding a staff that symbolizes his power to open the gates of hell and release souls trapped in suffering. His other hand has a wish-fulfilling jewel, symbolizing his vow to provide for the needs of all sentient beings. The rich gold plating and the turquoise and coral accents represent healing and protection, enhancing the statue's spiritual meaning. The colorful details draw attention to the sacred and compassionate nature of this revered bodhisattva, making this piece a powerful addition to your Buddhist altar or home.
This Kshitigarbha statue is more than a decorative piece—it is a symbol of compassion, protection, and spiritual strength. Perfect for anyone seeking spiritual guidance or those who wish to invite the calming presence of this bodhisattva into their life. Whether placed on an altar, in a meditation space, or gifted to a loved one, this Buddhist statue radiates positive energy and a sense of peace, helping to cultivate a spiritually harmonious environment.
Introduction To Kshitigarbha:
A bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism, Kshitigarbha is also known as Ksitigarbha or Jizo in Japanese. He is respected as the world's defender and protector and is known as the bodhisattva of the earth. It is said that Kshitigarbha pledged to prevent suffering in all creatures and postpone his own enlightenment until all beings had been rescued.
How do you take care of your statues?
Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Ensure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
