This piece exudes brilliant luster thanks to the gold gilding onto its copper body surface. In this statue, the Buddha is depicted standing atop a moon disc lotus seat with sublimity. The Buddha is presented with a calm countenance performing the 'Varada mudra,' a hand gesture that represents charity, offering, welcome, and compassion. Our traditionally trained Vajrayan artists hand-carved this statue with hammers and chisels over the course of several months.
