About Our Product

This Spiritual Sangye Menla Statue measures 19 cm in height, 13 cm in length, and 8 cm in width, with a weight of 1.43 kg. Made from brass and finished with acrylic color, the sculpture is decorated with gemstone, coral, and turquoise details. The seated figure is framed by a large ornamental halo, while the robe, lotus throne, base, and sacred attributes are carefully detailed to create a richly decorated Buddhist altar piece.

This statue features Sangye Menla, also known as the Medicine Buddha, seated in meditation on a lotus throne. His right hand extends downward while holding the myrobalan plant, one of his main healing attributes, and his left hand rests in the lap holding the medicine bowl. His calm expression reflects peace, wisdom, and compassionate care. Around the figure, the large pointed halo is decorated with floral forms, scrolling patterns, and gemstone, coral, and turquoise details. The robe is also covered with carefully arranged stone decoration, while the lower throne and base continue with carved and painted motifs. The back reveals the structure of the halo and the detailed stone work continuing across the robe.

This Spiritual Sangye Menla Statue can be placed on a Buddhist altar, meditation space, prayer room, Dharma center, monastery, or home shrine. Its Medicine Buddha iconography, myrobalan plant, medicine bowl, gemstone decoration, ornamental halo, and peaceful seated form make it a meaningful focus for prayer, meditation, and traditional Medicine Buddha practice.

Introduction of Medicine Buddha

Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is revered as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness, while emphasizing the importance of prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many Mahayana meditators admire his healing abilities. He is often depicted with a blue (lapis lazuli) body, holding a begging bowl and medicinal herbs.
