Sleeping Buddha Statue
About Our Statue :
With our Sleeping Buddha Statue, which is expertly crafted from solid brass, you can find peace and tranquility. This exquisite work of art, which measures 27 cm in width, perfectly captures the spirit of calm repose.
The moment the Buddha finally entered nirvana, ending his earthly existence, is symbolized by the Sleeping Buddha, also known as the Reclining or Parinirvana Buddha. With a serene expression and intricate detailing that clearly displays the careful craftsmanship involved, this statue depicts the Buddha lying on his right side.
Brass was chosen as the material for this statue because it not only ensures its longevity but also gives your sacred space a warm and welcoming luster. Place it in a corner of your house, your meditation space, or anywhere else, and allow the meditative energy of the Sleeping Buddha to lead you to inner tranquility and enlightenment. This magnificent work of brass is more than just a decorative item; it also serves as a spiritual symbol that encourages thought and contemplation, adding significance to your surroundings.
Introduction To The Reclining Buddha :
This particular posture in the Buddha's life appears to have originated at the same time as the other Buddha symbols and images, most notably in the Greek-influenced Gandharan period Buddhist arts. Many other regions have followed it in their Buddhist art to represent one of the pivotal moments in the Buddha's life. In Buddhism, this stance of the Buddha is known as the mahaparinirvanasana. When the Buddha realized his death was coming while in this position, he requested his students to create a couch in a bush to make it easier for him to lie down.

How do take care of your statues?
-Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
-Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
-Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
-Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
