Sitatapatra, The White Umbrella Tara
The original size of Dukkar thangka is 20 x 30 inches.
We are happy to share with you this Sitatapatra thangka. The White Umbrella Tara is one of many powerful female deities who is also known as Dukkar. She manifests her power with her thousand heads, arms, and legs. She has eyes on the palms of each of her hands and soles of her feet, and each head has three eyes.

Sitataptra's brilliant white color radiates with love and compassion. In her most common form she is depicted with 1,000 heads, 1,000 arms, 1,000 legs and 1,000,000 eyes. In her two central hands she holds a dharma wheel and the handle of the white parasol from which she takes her name. In her other hands she holds a multitude of various weapons, and her body is adorned with various ornaments.

Consecration of Thangka
At the Enlightenment Thangka, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka to respective Monasteries.
Please Note: Once consecrated, the Thangka becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.

For any reason you need to return your item, we're here to help.
