Siddhi Lakshmi, also known as Purnachandi, is a significant deity in Nepalese Hinduism and Buddhism. She maintains a significant role in Nepal's cultural and spiritual life, particularly within the historical setting of the Malla dynasty, which governed the Kathmandu Valley from the 12th to the 18th centuries.

Siddhi Lakshmi often appears as a multi-headed, multi-armed goddess, with each arm holding various symbolic weapons, such as swords, tridents, and shields, emphasizing her role as a warrior goddess. The depiction illustrates her ability to confront and withstand malicious forces. Her white color is unique and symbolizes purity and truth, distinguishing her from her often fearsome appearance. This contrast highlights her role as a kind and compassionate protector. She is frequently shown standing or seated on a lotus, which represents divine beauty and purity arising from the darkness of worldly existence.

Siddhi Lakshmi was the tutelary deity of Nepal's Malla monarchs and was considered as their self-chosen goddess (ishtadevata), responsible for legitimizing and protecting their rule. Following the death of King Yaksha Malla, the kingdom was divided into three cities; Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur making her worship even more important as a symbol of royal authority and divine protection. She was worshiped in secret rituals by the kings and at public shrines during major festivals, integrating her into the everyday religious life of the people.

Consecration of Thangka
At the Enlightenment Thangka, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka to respective Monasteries.
