About Our Product
This Siddhartha Gautama Sacred Statue measures 23 cm in height and 16 cm in width, weighs 1.77 kg, and is crafted from a copper body with gold plating. The sculpture portrays Buddha Shakyamuni seated calmly on a decorated lotus pedestal, featuring a peaceful expression, curled hair, elongated ears, and finely detailed robes. The golden surface highlights the engraved patterns across the robe and the graceful design of the lotus base, reflecting traditional Himalayan Buddhist craftsmanship.
This Siddhartha Gautama statue features Buddha seated in the Bhumisparsha Mudra, with his right hand reaching toward the earth while his left hand rests in his lap in a meditation gesture. This mudra represents the moment of enlightenment when Siddhartha Gautama called the earth to witness his awakening. His serene expression, ushnisha, elongated earlobes, and meditative posture symbolize wisdom, compassion, and the path toward liberation. The lotus throne represents purity and the journey of rising above worldly challenges.
This Tibetan Buddhist Buddha sculpture can be placed on an altar, shrine, meditation space, study room, or peaceful home setting. Siddhartha Gautama represents the teachings of mindfulness, compassion, and spiritual awakening. Displaying this statue serves as a meaningful reminder to cultivate inner peace, wisdom, and awareness while adding a traditional Himalayan presence to any sacred space.
Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama was raised to be a monarch in accordance with the goals of his royal father after being born as the powerful Shakya Kingdom's crown prince. But when he was approximately 29 years old, he became aware of the excruciating suffering endured by humans. He gave up his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and wealth to learn the causes of this suffering and how to put an end to it. He succeeded in his goal after nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and intense focus. He was now fully enlightened (a Buddha). On the outskirts of Varanasi, he claimed to have been to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India.
