About Our Product
Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism and the enlightened teacher, is beautifully represented in this handcrafted statue. This Siddhartha Gautama Buddha Statue measures 21 cm in height, 14 cm in length, and 10.5 cm in width, with a weight of 1.05 kg. The sculpture is crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic color details, featuring Buddha seated peacefully on a decorated lotus throne. The combination of golden highlights and traditional craftsmanship brings out the serene expression, detailed robes, and graceful posture of the Buddha.
This statue reflects the important features of Shakyamuni Buddha’s iconography. His curled hair, peaceful face, and calm eyes represent awakened awareness and meditation. His right hand touches the earth in the Bhumisparsha mudra, symbolizing the moment of enlightenment, while his left hand rests in a meditative gesture holding the alms bowl. The detailed robe patterns, balanced seated posture, and lotus pedestal represent purity, discipline, and the path toward spiritual awakening.
This 24K Gold Plated Siddhartha Gautama Buddha Statue is suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, monasteries, and sacred collections. It serves as a meaningful reminder of the Buddha’s teachings on mindfulness, compassion, wisdom, and the journey toward enlightenment.
Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama was raised to be a monarch in accordance with the goals of his royal father after being born as the powerful Shakya Kingdom's crown prince. But when he was approximately 29 years old, he became aware of the excruciating suffering endured by humans. He gave up his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and wealth to learn the causes of this suffering and how to put an end to it. He succeeded in his goal after nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and intense focus. He was now fully enlightened (a Buddha). On the outskirts of Varanasi, he claimed to have been to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India.
