About Our Product

This Shrine Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic color, creating a peaceful Buddhist altar figure for meditation, prayer, and shrine display. Measuring 22cm in height, 16.5cm in length, and 13.5cm in width, with a weight of 1.31kg, the statue carries a calm and balanced presence. The golden robe, painted facial features, blue hair, lotus base, and subtle color accents bring a sacred look to this meaningful Buddhist statue for home altars, temples, and spiritual spaces.

Shakyamuni Buddha is shown seated in the vajra posture on a lotus base, symbolizing purity, stability, and awakened wisdom. His right hand touches the earth in the bhumisparsha mudra, the earth-witnessing gesture that represents the moment of his enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. His left hand rests in meditation mudra, holding an alms bowl, which symbolizes simplicity, renunciation, and mindful living. The serene face, elongated ears, monastic robe, and calm seated form reflect the traditional iconography of the historical Buddha, guiding the mind toward peace, discipline, and inner clarity.

As a shrine Buddha statue, this piece supports daily meditation, offering practice, mantra recitation, and quiet reflection. Shakyamuni Buddha represents the path of wisdom, compassion, and freedom from suffering, making this statue a meaningful presence for practitioners and spiritual collectors. Placed on a Buddhist altar or meditation table, it helps create a peaceful atmosphere for devotion, mindfulness, and the journey toward enlightenment.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama, born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, was raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He then renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his objective, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. He subsequently taught that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
