About Shiva Statue:
The Shiva Family statue beautifully represents the divine family: Shiva, Parvati, and their son Ganesha. Made from brass with an antique finish, this sculpture stands 17 cm tall and weighs 2.24 kg. Shiva is shown with four hands. The snake around his neck represents his control over all energies, while his long ears signify his deep connection to cosmic wisdom. Ganesha, the elephant-headed god, peacefully sits on his mother Parvati's lap. At the same time, Parvati, the goddess of the Himalayas, is depicted with her left leg extended and her right hand in abhaya mudra, symbolizing her protective nature. The lion beside her emphasizes her strength and power.
The intricate details of the base symbolize Mount Kailash, the sacred home of Shiva in the Himalayas, linking the family to their divine abode. Shiva’s sacred bull, Nandi, is positioned at his feet, representing loyalty and devotion, while the lion next to Parvati highlights her fierce and protective qualities. The intimate pose of Parvati and Shiva emphasizes their unity, strength, and eternal partnership. Their serene faces contrast their dynamic expressions, embodying compassion and fearsome power. This exquisite deity family artwork beautifully captures the unity and symbolic power of this iconic Hindu divine family.
