About Our Statue :

The statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, the Enlightened One, is an emblem of wisdom, inner calm, and spiritual awakening. Expertly sculpted from antique crystal making it's head look like black and adorned with intricate gold plating, this sacred artwork radiates the tranquil presence of the historical Buddha. Standing at 58 cm, it is a striking centerpiece for home altars, meditation spaces, or spiritual sanctuaries. The crystal body with gold plating to the borders, symbolizing clarity and enlightenment, emits a refined, transparent radiance that transforms any space into a haven of peace.

Created with tremendous care by skilled Himalayan artists, the statue embodies millennia of Buddhist heritage. The throne, with its elaborate gold-plated base featuring auspicious carvings such as Kirtimukha, rests on legs carved for support and aesthetic grace. Above the throne, delicate leaf-like carvings enhanced with green accents evoke a lifelike naturalism, reinforcing the statue’s connection to the sacred earth. Acrylic-painted detailing subtly highlights the Buddha’s serene and compassionate expression, making the statue not only a devotional item but also a profound artistic statement.

The combination of crystal, gold, and hand-painted embellishments reflects divine vitality, sacred artistry, and the path to liberation and universal compassion. Whether used in spiritual practice or as a symbol of inner peace, this Shakyamuni Buddha statue invites a deep reverence and tranquility.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune in order to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
