About Our Statue :

This Shakyamuni Buddha Statue will add a touch of holiness to your shrine while also inspiring and deepening your spiritual practice. At 20cm tall, this wonderfully proportioned figurine is ideal for personal altars or intimate meditative spaces. The sculpture, cast from oxidized copper, embodies the noble material's ageless strength and resilience.

The statue's weight of 1.41 kg guarantees that it stands strong, representing the steadiness and foundation of Shakyamuni's teachings. The Buddha is depicted in the classic meditation pose, seated upon a lotus base, his hand forming the earth-touching mudra — a gesture that signifies the moment of his enlightenment. This profound symbol serves as a constant reminder of the potential for inner peace and enlightenment inherent in all beings.

Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, is the founder of Buddhism and one of its most respected enlightened teachers. His teachings serve as the foundation for Buddhist philosophy, leading millions in their pursuit of clarity, ethical behavior, and insight. Shakyamuni's journey from prince to sage shows the transformational power of meditation and awareness, providing a path away from suffering and toward nirvana.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king following the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
