About Our Product
This Shakyamuni Buddha Ghau Box Locket features Shakyamuni Buddha at the center, surrounded by the Eight Auspicious Symbols in an intricate floral arrangement. Crafted from copper with an electric gold-plated finish, the piece is richly decorated with detailed filigree-style work and colorful turquoise and coral gemstone accents. The combination of warm metalwork and vibrant gemstone details enhances the traditional Himalayan character of this sacred devotional object.
At the center, Shakyamuni Buddha is seated peacefully in meditation posture, representing the historical Buddha and his teachings on the path toward liberation. Surrounding him are the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism: the precious parasol, pair of golden fish, treasure vase, lotus, conch shell, endless knot, victory banner, and Dharma wheel. The turquoise and coral accents are incorporated throughout the ornamental design, adding color and detail to the sacred composition.
A Ghau box is traditionally a portable devotional container used to house a sacred image, relic, or other revered object. This handcrafted piece combines the devotional presence of Shakyamuni Buddha with the symbolism of the Eight Auspicious Symbols and the decorative beauty of turquoise and coral. It is suitable for Buddhist shrines, sacred collections, and personal devotional spaces, while its intricate copper craftsmanship reflects the rich artistic heritage of Himalayan Buddhist traditions.
