About Our Product
This Shakyamuni Buddha Buddhist Figure brings a sense of calm presence and spiritual focus through its vibrant and expressive design. Seated in the classic earth-touching mudra, the Buddha represents the moment of enlightenment, calling the earth to witness his awakening. The gentle facial expression, softly defined features, and composed posture create a peaceful visual that naturally draws attention and encourages quiet reflection.
The craftsmanship stands out through the combination of a copper body with gold and acrylic color detailing. Rich reds, blues, and greens surround the figure in an ornate halo, filled with traditional patterns that symbolize sacred energy and protection. The robe is carefully decorated with fine motifs, while the lotus base adds depth and meaning, representing purity rising above worldly distractions. The use of color enhances not just the beauty of the statue but also its spiritual symbolism.
More than a decorative piece, this Shakyamuni Buddha figure supports a mindful environment. It reflects teachings of balance, awareness, and inner clarity, making it suitable for meditation corners, personal shrines, or peaceful living spaces. Its presence encourages a steady mind and a deeper connection to spiritual practice, offering both visual richness and a quiet sense of grounding.
Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom, raised to be a king according to his royal father's wishes. However, around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He then renounced his lavish lifestyle, opulent clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a remedy. After nearly six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he achieved his goal: enlightenment (becoming a Buddha). He later claimed to have visited a deer park near Sarnath (Benares), outside Varanasi, India.
