About Our Product
This Serkyem Set for Sacred Rituals is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist offering vessel made with a copper body and brass accents. Measuring 9 cm in height, 8 cm in length, and 8 cm in width, and weighing 0.14 kg, this beautiful ritual piece carries a traditional two tier form with an elevated offering cup above a wide lower basin. Its warm copper surface and golden brass rims create a devotional appearance, making it a meaningful addition to Buddhist altars, shrine rooms, meditation spaces, and spiritual decor.
The design is adorned with finely engraved floral and lotus inspired motifs, adding depth and sacred beauty to the vessel. The upper cup, central stem, and lower bowl are carefully shaped to reflect the elegance of Himalayan ritual craftsmanship. The brass edging highlights the circular form, while the detailed copper surface gives the Serkyem offering bowl a refined and spiritual presence. Every element of this piece reflects care, patience, and respect for traditional Buddhist altar art.
In Vajrayana Buddhist practice, a Serkyem set is used for making liquid offerings to enlightened beings, Dharma protectors, and lineage guardians. These offerings symbolize devotion, generosity, purification, and the wish to clear obstacles on the path toward enlightenment. When placed on an altar, this Tibetan ritual offering vessel becomes a reminder of peace, mindful intention, and the sacred connection between offering practice and spiritual awakening.
Introduction of Serkyem Set
Serkyem sets are traditionally used in Tibetan Buddhist rituals to offer food or water to deities. The bowls are often arranged in a specific pattern on the altar during prayers and ceremonies. Serkyem sets are typically made from materials such as wood, metal, or bone, and are frequently decorated with intricate carvings or paintings. The offering of food or water through the use of Serkyem sets is believed to promote generosity and reduce selfishness, stinginess, and greed.

Customer Reviews

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

Handcrafted Traditional Bhumba | Sacred Ritual Offering Vessel
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!
The Communication was very good, friendly and supportive. The Beautiful Buddha Statue was very good packed and arrived safely. The Buddha Statue Looks exactly as showed in the Pictures. We also received a response to our question how old the Statue is and Where It was Made.We Highly recommend EvamRatna as a relieable Company with Experience and Personal Care.

I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this Buddhist Prayer Wheel. The beautiful embossed writing is Davanagari, the Sanskrit/Nepali alphabet also used in Tibet. The formula it reads is the classic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." This Prayer Wheel's unique feature is the inclusion of sacred figures that represent various aspects of spiritual life with precise meanings. The service I received was impeccable, attentive to my needs, punctual, and always very friendly. I thank Shreya for this attention. I recommend EvamRatna for the extraordinary workmanship of the items for sale. Kind Regards, Enrico Battistotti.
