About Our Statue :

This Sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddha beautifully captures the serene presence of Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha revered as the Enlightened Teacher who revealed the path to liberation. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the gold-plated copper statue exudes tranquility and profound wisdom, making it a powerful focal point for meditation rooms, personal shrines, or temple spaces. Its calm expression and elegant posture serve as a constant reminder of mindfulness, compassion, and the ongoing journey toward enlightenment. Ideal for spiritual practitioners, this statue inspires calm and focused reflection, nurturing a deeper connection to Buddha’s timeless teachings.

Expertly designed in traditional Himalayan style, this sacred sculpture reflects artistry that carries deep spiritual significance. Shakyamuni Buddha is often depicted in the earth-touching mudra, symbolizing the moment of his enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, when he called the Earth to witness his awakening. Placing this statue in your sacred space not only enhances your spiritual practice but also serves as a symbol of peace, inner strength, and awakening.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :

Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king by his royal father's wishes and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please Note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
