Traditionally Hand Carved Sakyapa Mahakala Sculpture

We have exquisitely hand-carved sculptures of Sakyapa Mahakala traditionally in a copper body, gilded with genuine 24k gold and painted with acrylic colors. We are the Kathmandu Valley artist whose artisan in making Vajrayana statues has passed through generations. In this Buddhist statue, we have depicted a deity on top of a sun disc lotus seat above a human body with a wrathful expression. Sakya Mahakala holds a vajra in his right hand while holding a skull cup in his left hand. We have magnificently adorned and embellished the ornaments with precious gemstones and valuable corals. You can use this statue for regular meditational or yoga activities and in different Vajrayana practices. This art of Himalayan will be a tremendous meditational gift from Nepal to a practitioner like you.

Mahakala is the guardian god of Mahayana Buddhism and all Tibetan Buddhist schools. He represents various ways, each with its features and characteristics. He is seen as the emanation of distinct beings in some circumstances, such as Avalokitesvara or Chakrasamvara. The five kleshas (adverse ailments) are transmuted into the five pearls of wisdom, and Mahakala is generally typically represented with a crown of five skulls.
