About Our Product
This Sacred Traditional Prayer Mala Beads is made from Original Bodhi Chitta beads, a highly respected material in Himalayan Buddhist practice. Known for their natural texture, rich brown tone, and organic character, these beads are treasured by practitioners for mantra recitation, meditation, prayer, and altar practice. The larger bead size gives the mala a strong presence in the hand, making it especially suitable for focused chanting and devotional use.
Bodhi Chitta is closely connected with bodhicitta, the awakened mind of compassion and wisdom. In Buddhist tradition, these beads are valued not only for their appearance but also for their spiritual meaning, supporting mindfulness, discipline, and the sincere intention to benefit all beings. Because each bead forms naturally, the variations in shape, surface, and color make every mala unique and more meaningful than ordinary decorative prayer beads.
This Original Bodhi Chitta Mala is ideal for practitioners seeking a sacred meditation tool with deeper spiritual value. Whether worn, used during mantra practice, or placed on a Buddhist altar, it helps cultivate patience, clarity, devotion, and inner peace. Its authentic material, traditional form, and connection to Buddhist practice make this Sacred Traditional Prayer Mala Beads a powerful companion on the path toward enlightenment.
Introduction of Mala
A mala is a string of beads used in meditation practices, particularly in Tibetan Buddhism. It functions as a counting tool, allowing practitioners to keep track of numerous mantra recitations. Typically, malas consist of 108 beads, though shorter versions exist. Each complete rotation of the mala, accompanied by mantra recitation, is equivalent to counting one hundred mantras. Additionally, eight extra beads serve as a "safety zone" to account for minor counting errors. A mala can also feature a guru bead, which acts as a personal marker for the practitioner, enabling them to track their progress and maintain focus during extended periods of meditation.
