About Our Product
This Sacred Tibetan Vajrasattva Purification Statue is crafted with an oxidized copper body, silver plating, and acrylic color detailing, representing one of the most revered purification deities in Tibetan Buddhism. The sculpture portrays Vajrasattva seated peacefully with intricate ornaments, a detailed lotus base, and traditional symbolic elements. The combination of silver accents, painted details, and oxidized finishing enhances the depth of the craftsmanship, making this sacred statue suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, and spiritual collections.
Vajrasattva is revered as the embodiment of purity, purification, and the transformation of negative actions into wisdom. He is traditionally depicted seated in the full vajra posture (vajraparyanka) on a moon disc above a multi-petalled lotus, representing stability, meditation, and the awakened state of mind. His right hand holds a five-pronged vajra at the level of his heart, symbolizing compassionate method, indestructible truth, and the unchanging nature of enlightened awareness. His left hand rests near the waist while holding an upturned ritual bell (ghanta), representing wisdom and the realization of emptiness. Together, the vajra and bell express the inseparable union of wisdom and compassion required to attain enlightenment.

Introduction To Vajrasattva:
Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
