About Our Product

This Sacred Spiritual Hanging Bell measures 15cm in height, 10cm in length, and 10cm in width, with a total hanging height of 70.5cm and a weight of 2.1kg. Crafted from brass, the bell is suspended from a long decorative chain with repeated ornamental links and a curved hanging hook. The bell body has a warm aged finish that highlights the engraved patterns and raised sacred figures around its surface.

This hanging bell features a long linked chain that connects to the bell through a circular attachment. The upper section is decorated with flowing engraved lines and traditional borders. Around the main body are several small seated sacred figures placed inside arched panels. One prominent figure is shown beneath a multi-headed serpent canopy, giving the design a strong protective and sacred character. The surrounding figures are framed with carved pillars, arches, and repeating decorative lines. Along the lower edge, a row of lotus-style patterns completes the design, while the inner clapper hangs beneath the bell to create sound when moved. In Himalayan spiritual traditions, the bell represents awareness, purification, sacred presence, and the calling of the mind toward spiritual practice.

This brass hanging bell can be displayed in a Buddhist shrine, meditation room, temple entrance, prayer space, altar area, or spiritual home setting. It can be used to mark the beginning or end of meditation, prayer, offerings, or ceremonial practice while also serving as a traditional Himalayan decorative object.

Introduction to Bell

Bell is regarded as one of Buddhism's powerful meditational and ritual symbols. During the rituals or Vajrayana Tantric practice, Ghanta, alongside dojre, is used in conjunction. The Dorje is held in the right hand, and the bell is on the left; they are never isolated from one another. The bell represents the feminine principle as the ‘perfection of wisdom which directly perceives emptiness (shunyata). It is defined as "proclaiming the sound of nothingness," which originates from the voidness of its shape, radiates in all directions, and then dissipates into silence or emptiness. Its hole, or mouth, represents nothingness, while its clapper, or tongue, represents the shape.
