About Our Product
The Sacred Simhanada Statue is a beautifully handcrafted representation of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, depicted in his fierce Simhanada (Lion’s Roar) form. Standing at 13 cm in height, this striking statue is made from copper with exquisite gold plating and adorned with Lapis Lazuli, symbolizing wisdom and spiritual clarity. Avalokiteshvara, known for his boundless compassion, is shown riding a lion, symbolizing his strength and protective nature. The Simhanada form emphasizes the Bodhisattva’s role in offering fierce protection while maintaining compassion for all sentient beings.
The intricate design highlights Avalokiteshvara’s serene yet powerful expression, with a dynamic flame-like aura representing his spiritual power. The lion beneath him symbolizes courage, protection, and the ability to overcome all obstacles. The use of Lapis Lazuli on the figure further enhances the statue’s symbolic meaning of wisdom, purity, and divine knowledge. This combination of copper, gold plating, and gemstones creates an elegant yet powerful piece, perfect for both aesthetic appeal and spiritual significance.
Weighing 0.61 kg, this Simhanada Avalokiteshvara Statue is ideal for display on altars, meditation spaces, or as a divine protector in your home. Its divine presence offers strength, protection, and wisdom to those who encounter it. This statue is a meaningful addition to any collection or spiritual practice, representing the compassionate power of Avalokiteshvara in his fierce form.
Introduction of Simhanada
In Tibetan Buddhism, the Simhanada, or Lion's Roar, is a powerful metaphor for the fearless proclamation of Dharma teachings. It represents the enlightened mind's ability to dispel ignorance and protect practitioners on their spiritual journey. The Simhanada symbolizes courage, strength, and the unwavering determination to spread wisdom and compassion. It is also associated with the Buddha's first teaching after achieving enlightenment, when he declared his victory over Mara, the demon god of ignorance and evil. The Lion's Roar is often depicted as a roaring lion or a lion's head, serving as a reminder to practitioners of their own inner strength and the importance of sharing the teachings of the Dharma with others.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

Handcrafted Traditional Bhumba | Sacred Ritual Offering Vessel
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.

I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this Buddhist Prayer Wheel. The beautiful embossed writing is Davanagari, the Sanskrit/Nepali alphabet also used in Tibet. The formula it reads is the classic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." This Prayer Wheel's unique feature is the inclusion of sacred figures that represent various aspects of spiritual life with precise meanings. The service I received was impeccable, attentive to my needs, punctual, and always very friendly. I thank Shreya for this attention. I recommend EvamRatna for the extraordinary workmanship of the items for sale. Kind Regards, Enrico Battistotti.
