About Our Product:
This machine-made Manjushri statue, cast from rich oxidized copper, embodies the Bodhisattva of transcendent wisdom. Standing 6.1” (15.5 cm) tall on a 4.3” (11 cm) base and weighing 0.61 kg, the piece radiates a serene and focused presence. Its detailed form represents sharp intellect and the ability to cut through delusion, serving as a guiding light for practitioners, students, and spiritual seekers. A refined addition to any altar or meditation space, it inspires mental clarity and contemplative insight.
Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is depicted with his right hand raised, wielding the flaming sword of discriminating insight to sever ignorance and attachment. In his left hand, he gently holds a lotus stem supporting the Prajnaparamita Sutra, representing the perfection of transcendent wisdom. This iconic posture embodies both clarity and compassion, inspiring practitioners to cultivate an analytical mind, discernment, and a compassionate heart. Meditating upon this sacred form encourages the overcoming of mental and emotional obstacles, fostering profound understanding and guiding one along the path to enlightenment.
Manjushri is the Bodhisattva of Great Wisdom in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, embodying the sharp, analytical intellect that perceives the true nature of reality. He represents the clarity of insight that cuts through ignorance and cognitive obscurations, allowing practitioners to develop deeper understanding, enhanced memory, and unwavering focus on the Dharma. By invoking his mantra and meditating upon his form, practitioners cultivate wisdom, discernment, and spiritual clarity, making Manjushri a central and revered figure across Buddhist traditions.
