About Our Product
This Sacred Guardian Garuda Statue measures 12.5cm in height, 9.5cm in length, and 6.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.52 kg. Crafted from brass, the sculpture presents Garuda in a powerful guardian form with a fierce bird-like face, large wings, strong legs, and raised arms. Garuda represents protection, courage, strength, freedom, and the power to overcome obstacles and harmful influences in Buddhist and Himalayan traditions.
This Garuda statue features a detailed crown above his fierce face, with a sharp beak, strong eyes, and rich ornamental patterns around the head. His two arms are raised upward with clenched hands, showing strength, readiness, and protective power. Large feathered wings spread outward from both sides of his body, symbolizing freedom and his ability to rise above obstacles. Detailed scale-like patterns appear across his legs, while his broad chest and strong stance add to his powerful appearance. Decorative carvings cover the crown, body, wings, and ornaments. Garuda stands firmly upon a raised lotus-style base, which represents purity and spiritual awakening.
This brass Garuda figurine can be placed on a Buddhist altar, shrine, meditation space, prayer room, or spiritual home display. Its guardian form makes it a meaningful symbol of protection, courage, confidence, and freedom from obstacles, while also serving as a distinctive piece of Himalayan sacred art.
Introduction of Garuda
In Buddhism, Garuda is depicted as a giant bird of prey, sometimes referred to as Suparna, which means "good wings." Like the Nagas, Garudas combine attributes of animals and sacred beings, ranking among the lowest of the Devas. They possess their own rulers and towns, with some having the magical ability to transform into human forms when interacting with people.
