Introduction of Guru Rinpoche

Guru Tsokye Dorje, also known as Guru Dorje Tötreng Tsal, is one of the Eight Manifestations of Guru Padmasambhava, the great tantric master who introduced Buddhism to Tibet in the eighth century. This specific manifestation depicts Guru Rinpoche in his wrathful aspect, symbolizing the fierce compassion required to overcome evil energies and ego-clinging. The name "Tsokye Dorje" means "Vajra Born from the Lake," referring to his miraculous birth on a lotus in Dhanakosha Lake. In this form, he is shown holding a vajra and a skull cup, both adorned with bone, representing the transformation of ignorance into wisdom. Guru Tsokye Dorje is a significant figure in Vajrayana practice, serving as a powerful defender and remover of obstacles on the path to enlightenment
