This Chenrezig statue is depicted seated in the lotus posture (padmāsana) on a lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. He wears a five-pointed crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, signifying his enlightened qualities. His hands are positioned in the gesture of compassion (anjali mudrā), holding cintamani symbolizing purity and compassion. The statue reflects Chenrezig’s role as the Bodhisattva of Compassion, inspiring loving-kindness and care for all beings.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara in Sanskrit, is the Bodhisattva of Compassion in Mahayana Buddhism. He embodies the boundless compassion of all Buddhas and is believed to hear the cries and sufferings of sentient beings, responding with loving-kindness to help relieve their pain. Often depicted with multiple arms and eyes to symbolize his ability to see and assist all beings simultaneously, Chenrezig inspires practitioners to cultivate compassion and altruism on the path to enlightenment. In Tibetan Buddhism, Chenrezig is highly revered and considered the spiritual embodiment of compassion itself.

Introduction To The Chenrezig :

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig encouraged them to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please Note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
