About Our Product
The Handcrafted Protective Garuda statue is a piece of spiritual art, symbolizing power, and liberation in Tibetan Buddhism and Hinduism. Standing at 8.5 cm Height, 8cm Length, 4.5cm width and weight 0.16kg this statue depicts Garuda in a protective stance, symbolizing his role as Lord Vishnu's mount and divine guardian against evil forces. Made from copper with gold and acrylic color detailing, it offers a striking contrast that enhances its spiritual significance.
In Buddhism, Garuda is depicted as a gigantic bird of prey, sometimes referred to as Suparna, which translates to "good wings." Like the Nagas, Garudas combine attributes of animals and sacred beings, ranking among the lowest of the Devas. They possess their own rulers and towns, and some have the magical ability to transform into human forms when interacting with people.
