About our Statue:
This handmade Laxmi statue is crafted from oxidized copper, standing 6.1” (15.5 cm) tall with a 5.1” (13 cm) base and weighing 0.69 kg. The natural patina of the oxidized copper gives the statue an elegant, timeless appearance. Expertly handcrafted by skilled artisans, this Laxmi sculpture makes a beautiful addition to home altars, meditation spaces, or any spiritual decor setting, symbolizing prosperity, abundance, and blessings.
This Laxmi statue depicts the goddess with her left hand in Abhaya Mudra, symbolizing protection and fearlessness, and her right hand in Varada Mudra, representing generosity and the granting of blessings. She stands gracefully with her right foot, stepping on an Upatala atop a lotus base, symbolizing purity and spiritual elevation.
Introduction to Laxmi:
Goddess Laxmi, a shining figure in Hinduism, embodies fertility, wealth, and purity. Celebrated especially during Diwali, the festival of lights, her presence brings auspicious blessings. Her symbols—the delicate lotus flower and the wise owl—represent innocence, grace, and the careful stewardship of riches. Devotees honor her with offerings, prayers, and the lighting of lamps, inviting her divine grace and the prosperity she bestows into their homes and hearts. This oxidized copper statue captures her timeless beauty and the spirit of abundance she inspires.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
