About Our Statue :

This Handmade Oxidized Copper Saraswati with Veena Statue stands 8.7” (22 cm) in height and 6.3” (16 cm) at the base, weighing 2.01 kg. Crafted from an oxidized copper body with an antique finish, the statue radiates a timeless aesthetic. Depicting Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of wisdom, music, and learning, as she gracefully holds her veena, this piece is ideal for enhancing study spaces, altars, or spiritual corners with refined energy and traditional artistry.

Saraswati is traditionally depicted as the serene goddess of knowledge, music, and the arts. In this representation, she holds a veena with both hands, symbolizing the harmony of creative expression and wisdom. Her upper right hand carries a rosary (akshamala), signifying concentration, discipline, and devotion, while her upper left hand holds a scripture (pustaka), representing eternal knowledge and learning. She is shown seated atop a moon disc, accompanied by her divine swan, which symbolizes purity, discernment, and spiritual insight, especially the ability to distinguish between truth and illusion.

Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of wisdom, knowledge, music, speech, and the arts. She is one of the principal deities in the Hindu pantheon and is especially revered by students, teachers, scholars, and artists. Saraswati is part of the trinity of Hindu goddesses, alongside Lakshmi (goddess of wealth) and Parvati (goddess of power), and is often considered the divine consort of Brahma, the creator of the universe.

Introduction to Saraswati:

With her graceful swan and veena, the Goddess Saraswati symbolizes the never-ending flow of knowledge and the arts. In Hindu mythology, she is revered as the celestial companion of Brahma, the creator, and represents the power of mind, intellect, and creative insight. Worshipping Saraswati means entering a world where wisdom reigns supreme and the arts vibrate with heavenly energy.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching the face with the bare hand can smudge it, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks.
