About Our Statue:
This magnificent Oxidized Copper Fasting Buddha Statue, which stands 52 cm tall, 39.5 cm wide, and weighs 12.06 kg, depicts the Buddha shortly before enlightenment, during his intensive meditation and austere fasting period. The statue is made from premium oxidized copper and has delicate details like emaciated ribs, a calm look, and realistic characteristics that evoke profound symbolism and spiritual narrative.
This fasting Buddha sculpture's oxidized finish gives it a striking, vintage look that deepens its spiritual meaning and makes it a unique focal point for altars, meditation spaces, yoga studios, or Buddhist art collections. Master craftsmanship is evident in every curve and form, inspiring awe and reflection. The statue's potent aura evokes the Buddha's steadfast dedication to achieving truth and liberation through detachment, simplicity, and mindfulness.
More than just a piece of art, this enormous oxidized Copper Fasting Buddha statue is a spiritual symbol that encourages self-control, consciousness, and change. This handcrafted masterpiece is perfect for adding spiritual significance to your environment, regardless of whether you're a dedicated Buddhist or a collector of sacred Eastern design.
Introduction To Fasting Shakyamuni Buddha:
Shakyamuni traveled south from Shakya's palace in Kapilavastu to Rajagriha, the capital of the kingdom of Magadha, where he studied with Alara Kalama and subsequently Uddaka Ramaputta, both yogic meditation instructors. Despite mastering their different types of meditation fast, he could not discover solutions to his queries in these disciplines.
How do take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
