Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaisajyaguru, is a master of Medicine in buddhism. He is described as a doctor who cures suffering using the medicine of his teachings. This beautiful statue of Medicine Buddha is sitting on a moon disc of a lotus seat with a calm expression holding a bowl containing the fruit of a medicinal plant called myrobalan.
We molded this statue on an oxidized copper body using the century-old traditional skill of statue creation. This lovely figurine stands 5.9 inches tall and weighs only 0.79kg, making it ideal for use as a portable meditation shrine.
