About Our Statue:

This Medicine Buddha statue stands 31 cm tall and 20.5 cm wide, weighing 2.3 kg. Crafted from oxidized copper, it reflects skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. Its serene presence makes it a meaningful addition to personal altars, meditation areas, or spiritual collections, offering both aesthetic beauty and spiritual inspiration. Perfect for those seeking to enhance healing energy, cultivate mindfulness, and invite calmness into their sacred spaces, this statue embodies the timeless wisdom and compassionate energy of the Medicine Buddha.

The Medicine Buddha is depicted in the padmasana (lotus) posture on a lotus base, wearing traditional robes. His right hand holds a myrobalan plant, symbolizing healing and medicinal knowledge, while his left hand carries an alms bowl, representing generosity and the offering of healing to all beings. This iconic imagery conveys both spiritual wisdom and the power to restore balance and well-being.

Inviting a Medicine Buddha statue into your home or sacred space is believed to enhance healing energy, promote physical and emotional well-being, and reduce suffering. Its presence supports mindfulness, meditation, and spiritual growth, helping practitioners cultivate compassion, patience, and clarity of mind. The statue’s symbolism—myrobalan plant for healing, alms bowl for generosity, and lotus posture for purity—encourages a harmonious environment, attracting positive energy, protection, and inner peace.

Introduction to Medicine Buddha:

The Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaisajyaguru, is revered in Buddhist tradition as the healer of physical and spiritual ailments. He embodies compassion, wisdom, and the power to dispel suffering, offering blessings of health, longevity, and protection. Depicted holding a myrobalan plant in his right hand—symbolizing medicinal knowledge—and an alms bowl in his left, he represents the integration of healing and generosity.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
