About Our Product
This Manjushri Wisdom Statue is a handcrafted copper sculpture depicting Manjushri seated within an elaborate throne-style ornamental structure. This statue is approximately 6 years old and features extensive filigree artwork throughout the throne, surrounding frame, and decorative elements. The sculpture is enriched with artificial coral and turquoise, acrylic color, and 24K gold and silver plating, while a prominent Cheppu motif is incorporated at the top. The layered floral, scrolling, and ornamental details create a highly elaborate presentation around the central deity.
Manjushri is revered in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism as the Bodhisattva of transcendent wisdom and insight. He represents the wisdom that cuts through ignorance and supports the cultivation of clear understanding and discernment. Here, Manjushri is presented in a seated throne-like composition, surrounded by intricate filigree work, floral elements, gemstone accents, and detailed metal ornamentation.
