About Our Statue
The Manjushri Wisdom Buddha Statue represents intellectual clarity and wisdom. This wonderfully made gold-plated copper statue, measuring 21.5cm tall and weighing 1.38kg, depicts the spirit of Manjushri, the bodhisattva of wisdom in Tibetan Buddhism. Manjushri, known for his role in dispelling ignorance and illuminating the path to enlightenment, is depicted holding a flaming sword of wisdom in his right hand, symbolizing cutting through the darkness of ignorance, and a Prajnaparamita Sutra in his left hand, representing deep, insightful knowledge.
This statue is a sacred artifact in Buddhist practice, possessing both spiritual importance and aesthetic appeal. Its craftsmanship reveals complex intricacies, and gold plating adds a regal touch to the statue's physical appearance. The fiery sword represents the sharpness of wisdom that clears misunderstanding, whilst the sacred sutra highlights the necessity of wisdom in achieving enlightenment. Whether displayed in a meditation room, home shrine, or study area, this statue serves as a reminder to seek clarity and enhance one's understanding. It is ideal for people looking to expand their intellectual development, spiritual practice, and comprehension of Buddhist teachings.
Introduction To Manjushri :
Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. He is one of the most compassionate bodhisattvas and is particularly famous among Tibetan Buddhists. As the Buddha Resplendent, he resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, which its scholars recognize.
How do you take care of your statues?
Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Ensure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe your face. Directly touching objects with your bare hands can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
