About Our Statue:
Introducing the illuminating presence of Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, into your meditative place with this magnificent 24K gold-gilded sculpture. Standing at a meditative height, this statue profoundly portrays Manjushri's attributes: transcending knowledge, comprehension, and enlightened awareness, captured in a form that exudes the golden light of insight.
The copper body of this statue, prized for its spiritual resonance, has been carefully gilded with 24K gold, enhancing Manjushri's aura of clarity and acute intellect. The gold and acrylic paintings provide delicate detail to the sculpture, from the lotus throne to the fiery sword that cuts through ignorance, with each piece representing the Bodhisattva's deep meaning.
Manjushri, renowned for his youthful beauty and brilliant intellect, wields a flaming sword in his right hand, symbolizing the sharpness of prajna, or wisdom, that dispels ignorance. His left hand holds the stem of a lotus flower upon which rests the Great Wisdom Sutra, symbolizing his attainment of ultimate realization and his role in teaching the dharma.
Introduction To Manjushri :
Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. Manjushri, one of the most famous compassion bodhisattvas, is particularly revered among Tibetan Buddhists. He, as the Buddha Resplendent, resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
