About Our Statue

This exquisite statue of Manjushri, the guardian of enlightened wisdom, exemplifies the fine Tibetan artistry. Crafted from copper and elegantly gold-plated, the statue captures Manjushri holding his iconic sword, symbolizing the cutting through of delusions and ignorance. Standing at 14.5 cm tall and 10.5 cm wide, this finely detailed piece embodies both spiritual significance and artistic mastery. Ideal for meditation spaces or as a meaningful collectible, it serves as a powerful reminder of mindfulness, clarity, and the pursuit of wisdom in daily life.

Manjushri, the revered Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is depicted seated gracefully upon a lotus and moon disc throne—symbols of spiritual purity, stability, and liberation from illusion. The lotus rising from murky waters represents wisdom emerging from ignorance, while the moon disc evokes mental clarity and tranquility brought forth by awakened insight. In his right hand, Manjushri brandishes a flaming sword, embodying the piercing power of wisdom to cut through delusion, ignorance, and illusion, revealing the true nature of reality. His left hand performs the Vitarka Mudra, the gesture of teaching and intellectual discussion, affirming his role as a transmitter of profound Dharma. Near his left arm blooms a lotus flower, upon which rests the Prajñāpāramitā Sutra—a sacred scripture representing the perfection of transcendent wisdom that leads to enlightenment. Introduction To Manjushri :

Manjushri means "very auspicious" in Sanskrit. He is one of the most compassionate bodhisattvas and is particularly famous among Tibetan Buddhists. As the Buddha Resplendent, he resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is a Tibetan name that means "good companion." He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, which its scholars recognize.

How do you take care of your statues?

Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Ensure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe your face. Directly touching objects with your bare hands can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
