About Our Product

This Manjushri Statue Bodhisattva of Wisdom measures 11 cm in height and 9.5 cm in width, with a weight of 0.56 kg. Crafted from bronze, the sculpture has a warm aged finish that brings out the carved contours of the body, garments, ornaments, and facial details. Manjushri is seated in a meditative posture with an upright upper body, flowing scarf details, and a calm expression. The oxidized surface creates natural tonal variation across the sculpture, highlighting the traditional Himalayan metalwork and giving the piece a strong presence for a Buddhist altar, meditation room, study space, or sacred collection.

This Manjushri Bodhisattva statue presents the deity in his recognizable wisdom form. His raised right hand holds the flaming sword of wisdom, symbolizing the cutting through of ignorance, confusion, and mistaken understanding. His left hand is shown near the chest in a teaching related gesture while supporting his traditional sacred attribute associated with transcendent wisdom. The carefully formed crown, elongated ear ornaments, flowing garments, and seated posture emphasize his enlightened appearance. Manjushri represents prajna, or awakened wisdom, and his imagery encourages clear understanding, learning, insight, and deeper contemplation of the Buddhist teachings.

This Manjushri sculpture can serve as a meaningful focus for meditation, study, prayer, and Dharma practice. His sword is a reminder to develop clarity and discernment, while his peaceful seated form reflects inner balance and awareness. Suitable for an altar, shrine, meditation corner, Buddhist center, or personal collection, this representation of the Bodhisattva of Wisdom brings together traditional Himalayan craftsmanship and spiritual symbolism connected with enlightenment, knowledge, and peace.

Introduction of Manjushri

In Sanskrit, Manjushri means'very auspicious.' He is one of the most compassionate bodhisattvas and is particularly famous among Tibetan Buddhists. As the Buddha Resplendent, he resembles a brilliant sun. Manjushri is also a Tibetan name meaning 'good companion.' He also represents the Kadampa Buddhist tradition, recognized by its scholars.
