Introduction to Mahakala Head
Mahakala is a powerful deity in both Hinduism and various branches of Buddhism, particularly in Tibetan Buddhism. Often depicted as a fierce and wrathful figure, Mahakala is a protector and destroyer of obstacles, negative forces, and ignorance. In Buddhist traditions, Mahakala is considered a Dharmapala (protector of the Dharma) and a guardian of spiritual practice. The Mahakala head is not just a representation of the deity but also a symbol of the transformative power of meditation and the integration of destructive forces to pave the way for spiritual realization. It is often used as a focal point for meditation and visualization in tantric practices.

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
