This handmade, oxidized copper and silver-plated statue depicts the powerful Buddhist deity Mahakala in his six-armed form. The statue stands at 25.98 inches tall and weighs 25.12kg. Mahakala is depicted standing on an elephant's body, representing the triumph of Mahakala, or good, over obstacles and challenges. The deity bears three pairs of arms that each carry an item symbolic of his divine powers that symbolize his ability to bestow protection. He can also be seen wearing a garland of skulls, representing life's transient nature and the ultimate victory over death.
