This large golden stupa is a magnificent example of Himalayan craftsmanship and religious symbolism, depicting the Buddha's enlightened mind. It is an astounding 130cm tall and 69cm wide and is expertly constructed from a copper body that has been exquisitely gold-plated and adorned with imitation coral and turquoise stones. Every meticulous feature of this majestic stupa has a profound spiritual meaning, from the lotus base, which signifies purity, to the tapering spire, which reflects the stages of enlightenment. The golden finish exudes heavenly energy, making it a focal point of peace and devotion in any temple, monastery, or meditation hall.

The stupa, crafted by renowned Newar artisans in Nepal, features intricately etched designs and gemstone ornaments that enhance its sacred beauty. The base's layers are artistically carved with auspicious symbols, including lions for protection and triumph. At the center sits Shakyamuni Buddha, the Enlightened One, in the Bhumisparsha Mudra—the Earth-touching gesture that symbolizes his triumph over illusion and attainment of awakening. The golden parasol and crescent moon atop the tower symbolize spiritual sovereignty and liberty. Introduction To Stupa :

Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.

How to Set Up Your Own Buddhist Shrine?

•    Find a clean, quiet, and uncluttered spot
•    Set up an altar table, and cover it with an altar cloth that calls to you
•    Place your sacred item at the center
•    If you want a more elaborate altar, you can put a Stupa as well
