About Our Product

The Handcrafted Dipankara Buddha Statue is a sacred representation of the Buddha of the past, symbolizing enlightenment, purity, and the timeless path of awakening in Buddhist tradition. Expertly crafted from an oxidized copper body with silver plating, this statue measures 39.5cm in height, 14.5cm in length, and 10.5cm in width, with a weight of 4.17 kg. Its tall, elegant form makes it suitable for Buddhist altar spaces, meditation halls, shrine arrangements, and spiritual practice environments.

Dipankara Buddha is revered as one of the previous Buddhas who foretold the future enlightenment of Shakyamuni Buddha. In this statue, he is depicted standing in a calm and composed posture, symbolizing steady awareness and enlightened presence. His right hand is shown in the Abhaya Mudra, the gesture of fearlessness and protection, offering reassurance and removing obstacles. The left hand reflects compassionate guidance and spiritual support. The flowing robes, serene facial expression, and finely detailed ornaments express purity, wisdom, and the continuity of the Buddha’s teachings across time.

This Dipankara Buddha Statue is ideal for meditation, prayer, and offerings. Placing it on an altar is believed to support clarity of mind, wisdom, and spiritual growth while honoring the lineage of past Buddhas. Made with oxidized copper and silver-plated detailing, it carries traditional Himalayan craftsmanship, making it a meaningful addition to any sacred space, meditation corner, or spiritual collection.

Introduction of Dipankara Buddha

Dipankara is a historical Buddha believed to have lived on Earth for a hundred thousand years. The number of Buddhas that have existed in theory is vast, and they are sometimes referred to as 'Thousand Buddhas,' each responsible for a life cycle. According to certain Buddhist sources, Dipankara (also Dipamkara) attained enlightenment eons before Gautama Buddha. He is typically depicted as a seated Buddha, though standing images are common in China and Thailand. He usually forms a protective mudra (Abhaya mudra) with his right hand, though sometimes with both.
