Introduction To Kurukulla

The goddess Kurukulla emanated from the Buddha Amitabha. Among his three female emanations, the most important is the goddess Kurukulla. Her images are sporadic, but we can find paintings in abundant numbers. As many as fourteen Sadhana are devoted to this deity. She is indifferent, namely Sukla Kurukulla, Tarobhabhava-Kurukulla, Mayjala-Kurukulla Oddiyan-Kurukulla, and Astabhuja-Kurukulla.
